I would like to be able to run a report and email the results. Currently, the only way to do this is to schedule a report but this deosn't fit one-off reporting requests very well.

We recently shipped this feature! You can now create a report schedule and disable it so it doesn't run at a certain day/time and then click the "Run Now" button whenever you need it to be run and sent out on-demand.
Thank you for the suggestion, John! We think this is a great idea and our engineering team is currently working on this, along with the ability for some really nice additional scheduling functionality. This will most likely be in the product in the next few weeks.
