Ability to use relative dates in report options and filters

We are manually building relative dates (this week, last week, last month, last year) in Excel formulas on a regular basis. It would be nice to have the ability to use relative dates directly in the report options and filters, versus having to build them in Excel. Two good examples we build regularly, using LAST YEAR or THIS YEAR and using LAST MONTH or THIS MONTH in the filters.
